READY TO BUILD LIFE
01 July 2026
Before building a house, the most important thing to ensure is its foundation. Without a strong base, the building can easily crack, even collapse. Building also requires planning, precision, and patience. Just like our lives, if not started from the right foundation, anything built upon it will not last long. Especially when the storms of life come. What is sturdy, surely starts from a tested foundation.
In this passage, David speaks to his son, Solomon. He knew he couldn't build the temple because God chose Solomon to do it. However, David did not stay idle. He prepared everything: skilled workers, building materials, and even wise advice for his son. David said, "Now, my son, may the Lord be with you." This is not just a message from a father, but a loving encouragement for Solomon to walk with the Lord in building something great. In these verses, we see that building is not only about physical strength but also spiritual readiness. Solomon was asked to be strong and courageous because the work he would undertake was a holy task.
In our lives, there are many things that need to be built: family, character, ministry, or even a small business being started. However, before building anything, have we prepared ourselves like David prepared Solomon? Have we invited the Lord to be with us from the beginning? God wants us to build something meaningful, not in haste, but with faith, courage, and preparation. Just as David prepared everything for Solomon, the Lord is also preparing us. Are we ready to walk with Him today? --MIA/www.renunganharian.net

A STRONG LIFE IS BUILT UPON THE FOUNDATION OF FAITH AND PREPARATION TOGETHER WITH THE LORD.
